Providing education and vocational training for children and adults with special needs. The school believes that every human, disabled or not, has the right to develop to his or her fullest capacity. New Horizon Special School seeks to develop each child's potential to the extent that he or she can lead a productive and satisfying life. It was started by a mother with a handicapped daughter with support of some parents and friends on 10th January, 1972. It provides day school education for children and vocational training and employment for adults with intellectual disabilities. Presently the school has 120 pupils with an age range of 4 to 54 years.
Must be at least 18 years of age by the start date of your placement. Must have a reasonable background and interest in the chosen placement. Must provide a detailed report at the end of your placement, outlining entire experience to aid future interns and volunteers. Must be open minded, ready to face any challenges encountered. Must be hardworking and driven, especially when placement gets hectic.

The Passport (formerly Real Life) is Adventures in Missions' program for college-age (18-22 years old) individuals. Passporters spend 1 to 9 months securing their identity in Christ, getting equipped and growing empowered to advance God's kingdom alongside local churches and ministries overseas. In addition to sharing and living out the gospel, contending for justice on behalf of orphans, the poor, and the trafficked mark the ministry experience of the Passport.
